Meraner Höhenweg (Walkway)
The Meraner Höhenweg is one of the most-beautiful closed-circuit walkways in all the Alps. It is relatively level, and extends along the boundary between the high-altitude climate zone of the Texel Group and the sub-Mediterranean climate zone of Meran/Merano. The entire walkway has a length of approx. 100 km, but can also be divided into daily segments. The walkway offers numerous splendid look-out points.
