The Horse-Racing Track in Meran/Merano
The "Mais" horse-racing tracks is located in the immediate proximity of the town square, and is most certainly one of the most-beautiful equestrian sports centers in Europe. It was built back in 1935, on a 100-acre area in the course of just one year, and is regarded as an exemplary equestrian sports center.
In addition to the grass tracks for races and training, there is a roofed canter ring in the "Borgo Andreina" horse village, with more than 350 boxes for around-the-year training.
